ABOUT US

The Laïc Hearth of Keryado ( FLK) is a Lorient organization which consists of 15 sporting sections with over 1200 members. The FLK Lorient Triathlon section was set up in 1986, since then, it has organized every year a triathlon competition : at the beginning,  short distance races on the Scorff river and since 2000 Long Distance races on the Ter lake. 

The Lorient FLK Triathlon club consists of 80 members with about 15 children who attend training courses provided by the school of Triathlon.

The number of Triathlon competitions organized in Lorient has increased over the past few years:

- Several Brittany Championships
-2 French National Long Distance Championships in 2004 and 2005
-1 Long Distance Word Cup in 2006
-1 Long Distance World Championship in 2007.

Today the organizing committee is made up of triathletes along with a team of motivated and passionate volunteers, (all practicing sports) who come from different Pays de Lorient based industries.
